Achy back? Give yoga for back care a go. This class will be beneficial for people battling with backache, spine curvature and imbalances, gym goers, and people who spend long periods of time on their feet. By building body awareness students will be empowered to release tension and find ease in the back body through specific poses. Numerous studies have shown the power of ancient practice to relieve back soreness and improve function.

It was BKS Iyengar in Pune, India who invented and popularized yoga wall ropes or yoga “kurunta,” which means puppet, as a way to support injuries, prepare the foundation of a pose and deepen awareness of alignment. The concept is really very simple; the wall ropes provide a straightforward combination of resistance and support encouraging the student to be held and use gravity and weight bearing to decompress joints, release tension and open the body where previously it might not have been possible. Geeta Iyengar, BKS Iyengar’s daughter and author of Yoga, A Gem for Women, has remarked that wall ropes teach students, “how to get space and quiet,” and to ultimately find freedom in the body.

This class is perfect for those busy bees out there and need their practice in a jiffy. This dynamic class is suitable for people with some yoga experience that need to recharge and balance body systems. We will be focusing on standing poses, graceful transitions (Vinyasa- flow transitions) Iyengar based yoga offers profound and safe knowledge on proper pose transitions, and body alignment and adequate support to suit individual needs.

This practice will challenge you and bring grace to your yoga practice and in daily life.

Yoga is an ancient science where one can see benefits on correct practice with the guidance of a knowledgeable teacher. In our Holistic Yoga Class emphasis is on standing poses to help you develop posture, vitality, strength, stability, stamina, and connection with the use of props to facilitate learning and adjusting poses for stiff people. It teaches you how to use yoga to ease various ailments and stresses. 

We will also be using the Yoga Wall which allows you to perform standing poses, back bends, inversions and work from the neck to shoulders; it is also a fantastic workout for the spine. It enables you to hold poses for several minutes to achieve therapeutic benefits with correct alignment for seasoned practitioners as well as beginners.

You can relax and lay back, to restore your body back to vitality and strength! It takes no effort at all but sometimes the hardest thing for us to do is to relax! In this class you’ll learn how to free yourself from the negative effects of stress and tap into the body’s natural ability to heal itself, preventing and reducing physical problems like headaches, back pain, high blood pressure, asthma and fatigue. 

This practice is great for those recovering from illness or injury or just feeling weak, stressed out, or depleted from daily activities. The yoga props that are used in the class were designed to support you in poses without putting pressure on spine and joints. Get pampered and come for restorative yoga practice!

This is a wonderful class for beginner Pilates students and anyone struggling with body imbalances or recovering from injuries. Here you will learn proper body mechanics that will help you to correct imbalances and support natural healing processes. Even the most seasoned practitioners will find this class useful by gaining a deeper understanding of Pilates form and learning new ways to improve their practice. We will be using Pilates props such as the small ball, rubber band, magic circle and more.

Pilates Body Mat

This class utilizes small equipment such as the magic circle, rubber band and foam roller to create a powerful and effective routine! Mat work is the foundation of Pilates for both serious and novice Pilates practitioners. It’s a complete body workout that will teach you the essential principles of Pilates and more. 

Pilates With Therapy Ball🏐

In our modern lifestyle and workout we don’t use our upper body enough or too much like in weightlifting resulting in back pain and discomfort.

In this class we will be using a therapeutic ball to build and strengthen holistically from the wrists and shoulders down through to hips, ankles, and toes.

 If you liked your dance classes as a child or you are still dancing, you will absolutely love our Barre Pilates class!  We’re integrating the main principles of Pilates work with the Choreography and challenge of a Barre workout. 

In this class you will experience combinations of low impact routines that include a variety of cardio, strength training, flexibility, balance, and core conditioning exercises; these target your hips, butt, abs, and arms. 

Our unique Pilates Barre bar will allow you to perform pushups as well as pull ups repertoires for a complete Pilates experience with upbeat music and bubbly energy. It’s a low impact class that will not stress your body or your joints; on the contrary it will energize you, strengthen your joints and create a dancer’s body!

Tower Power

This is the most popular of all Pilates group classes because of the playful nature of the workout!  Studio Pilates Tower is recommended for clients with previous Pilates experience in either individual or group setting.

Building strength with grace and tapping into your inner energy as you have never experienced before! It’s a unique, highly customizable piece of equipment that has leg and arm springs and a pull out bar, all of which are also used on the Cadillac piece of Pilates equipment in our private classes. 

Springs have 4 levels of resistance to accommodate the individual needs of the client(s) without the higher cost of private class. This effective workout will help you build strength and muscles as well as provide support in challenging forms! 

The Body-Mind connection is the integral and challenging part of this class as you have to learn to be in control not only of your body but also of the equipment with which you are working.
